Two film tools. One recommends movies based on a film you pick. The other analyzes my own watch history.
A visual analysis of my Letterboxd diary, inspired by DACTAL. A local MiniLM sentence transformer and UMAP place each film I've watched by similarity. Five views show what I watch and how my taste has changed over time: taste map, taste trajectory, genre drift, consensus gap (Bland-Altman), and cultural footprint.
Pick a film and it collects related titles through the director, writers, cast, genres, and keywords. IDF weighting cuts repeats, and results are ranked by how much each role contributes. Each step streams live over SSE. Works for TV and anime too.
